Dark actionway

The remodel sure made for a dramatic transformation back here, and I'm not entirely sure it's for the better. In particular, the store looks quite a bit darker than before the remodel! That was a frequent complaint about Safeway's Lifestyle remodels back in the mid-2000s, but isn't something I've noticed with most Modern Decor remodels. I suspect it's largely because of the new dark concrete floors, along with the removal of some of the lights above the dairy cases. This is a bit part of the reason that I actually might prefer the original look of this store, even if I prefer the new decor. I know I almost never say this, but this store would look much better with some sort of vinyl floor!
