Though the special Lifestyle v3 custom category markers were removed, the health and beauty department at least did keep some type of special category markers. And while they aren't completely unique, these light turquoise ones are probably even less common than the teal ones were, which is saying something! You can also see here how the health and beauty department includes one super-wide aisle, which is why its aisles don't line up with the pet department's ones -- if Kroger were here, with their aisle number-inflating insanity, I'm sure the front and back halves of these aisles would have had separate numbers! Instead, Safeway just decided not to sign the health and beauty side of things, which is strange but not too crazy since the low shelving height means that you can easily see the category markers at a glance.
This doesn't necessarily look bad, but I think the Lifestyle v2 looked better in this area of the store and in the store in general.
ReplyDeleteLifestyle v2 (particularly the original version, rather than the refreshed version I showed this store with) is still my favorite Safeway decor package, but I actually really like the way the health and beauty section looks like now!
