The checkouts here are some of the most minimalistic I've ever seen, without any tall shelving displays or even register lights! That leaves the front end with an extremely open feel, which certainly isn't a bad thing in any way, but it does feel slightly disconcerting compared to what I'm used to seeing. There also weren't any lines of people waiting to check out like I'm used to seeing -- I'm not sure whether that's because of an abundance of employees or a lack of customers!
