Macy's with skybridge

This picture didn't turn out great -- it looks like my iPod decided to focus on the trolley wires instead of the building -- but it's still kind of a neat angle on the store, showing the skybridge connection. One interesting effect of the office conversion of this building is that the windows were exposed for the first time in a long time -- when the full building was still Macy's, all of the windows were covered over from the inside, with the salesfloors having no visible windows (just like the second floor did until the store closed). It would have been really cool to see this store when it still had natural light on the salesfloors... but I imagine those windows were probably covered up even before my parents were born!
