It's kind of strange that Macy's kept the full-size elevator lobby on the upper floor after the downsizing, since only four of the elevators are still in operation. You can easily tell which ones they are, since they're the only ones with numbers above the doors, so it's not really tricking anyone into thinking there are more elevators than there actually are! You'd think they would have wanted to reclaim the floor space in front of the ones that are out of service, but who knows. I'm also not sure what, if anything, the vacant elevator shafts were used for, since the office part of the building has its own separate set of elevators.
