Carticade

For one reason or another, the left side entrance to the store was all barricaded up with an assortment of carts, meaning that everyone had to use the right-hand doors. I seem to remember the automatic doors not working properly, so perhaps they only wanted to have one employee helping with the doors. It's funny how much this picture reminds me of many pictures I've seen of abandoned stores...

  1. Yeah, I'd assume the same thing. At the Horn Lake Target they would simply tape the doors open. (Of course, the inner sets of doors are always manual anyway, but no one ever seems to realize that XD )

    1. That's clever! I'm not entirely sure why they wouldn't have done something to hold the doors open here -- of course, it was January, so maybe they just didn't want the store to get too cold (since I doubt the heat was working). And so true about Target doors -- I can't remember the last time I saw someone using the manual set of doors!

    2. Yeah, lack of heat certainly creates a different story, haha!
