While they clearly weren't all that busy on this visit (which, again, was pre-COVID shutdowns), it's clear that the service departments are the star of the show in this store -- or, at least, that the designers considered them to be. The back (right in this picture) side is home to the "traditional" service departments (with an extremely upscale twist, of course), while the front (left) side is dedicated to prepared foods (some of which looked very good, if very expensive, unsurprisingly). I haven't been in very many Whole Foods stores, but the prepared foods section seems very similar to what I've seen in my limited visits there.
