From this angle, you can see this store's weird double-banked checkout layout, along with the new Marketplace "Fred Meyer ❤️'s Greenwood!" sign. Much more interesting, though, is the ugly sign off to the right of that -- the chalkboard-style Customer Service sign, that's one of several remnants from the store's former decor package. Sadly, it's one of the worst things from that decor (I'm very much not a fan of the chalkboard style with faux-handwriting font), but I'll take it.

ReplyDeleteIt is! The only reason I can think of is that this is a highly unusual placement for customer service in a Fred Meyer (it's almost always in an island), so someone probably forgot that they needed to order something special for this store 🙂
