Beverages

Also in the back left corner is the liquor department, or at least part of it (this part is signed as "Beverages", but there's clearly quite a bit of alcohol in those beverages, however, there's also a section signed as "Liquor" in the opposite corner of the store that we'll see eventually). It's interesting to see how empty the shelves are -- I have to wonder if this store has a bit of a shoplifting problem, knowing what part of town this is in.

  1. The signage/decor at this QFC looks more like something from Safeway's Lifestyle designs than typical Kroger decor. It's nothing spectacular, but it is rather classy. I do like that. I suppose it's a bit like the Kroger script decor in the sense that it is a bit generic, but classy.

    1. I never would have thought about it that way -- it's always interesting to hear an outside perspective! For me, this decor is very much associated with QFC, since it's probably the most common decor package to this day. It is from about the same time period (mid-2000s) as Lifestyle v1 and v2, though.
