Maybe I should have saved this picture for halloween! Much of the shoe department had already been cleared out by this time, with a seemingly endless array of mannequins replacing it. I'm pretty sure that Macy's shipped out much of the good merchandise from this store before the closing sale started (which also explains why it started with a rather generous 50% discount), and I suspect that they shipped in fixtures from other stores to sell off. They also seem to have had some big storage space that they cleared out as part of the closing sale, but even then this is a heck of a lot of mannequins!
