This little strip has pretty much all the major retail you'd expect to find in a town like this -- the drug store, the hardware store, and the grocery store. Despite the signage, the Hi-School Pharmacy and Ace Hardware are actually the same store. Hi-School Pharmacy is a regional chain focusing on small towns like this, and it appears that they are frequently combined with Ace Hardware locations. I probably should have stopped in at least one of them when I was down in Portland, but I never ended up doing so.
