Frozen, under the peak

Even with the unfortunate giant air ducts, the vaulted ceiling does a good job of making this place not feel quite so cramped. I have to imagine the items on top of the frozen cases sell at least a little bit better here than they do in a typical Safeway, seeing as this store is right on one of the main routes to toe Oregon Coast from Portland and therefore is in a prime place to attract tourists. And speaking of those cases, while I doubt they're from the 60s, they certainly look rather ancient (and seem to be doing a number on the vinyl flooring -- that sure looks like water damage to me in the bottom left of the picture).
