The lack of columns along the right side led to the square signs getting a more traditional ceiling mount rather than the column mount used elsewhere in this store. It appears that both designs were frequently used in the original City Targets, though the square shape (rather than the horizontal rectangle used in most Target decor packages) makes me think that they were designed with column installation in mind.
