Upon reaching the upper level and turning around, this is the view of the second level. The flooring here might be older, but pretty much all of the finishes on the second level seem to have been redone when the store was shrunk. The lighting around the escalators is an interesting touch, highlighting where the opening to the upper levels once would have been.
Totally different feel on this level!
ReplyDeleteIt really is! It's certainly not as interesting as the main floor, but it is nice (and not particularly common) to see a modern department store...
