Like most Albertsons stores, this place has a big, open front end compared to the typical Safeway. I'm sure that's nice in this time of social distancing -- in a normal Safeway, the lines, with the 6-foot spacing they're trying to force, stretch well down the aisles. (At least the spacing requirements make it easier to walk along the front actionway, something that's rather frustrating normally at busy times!) With the odd placement of the thank you sign and the micro customer service sign, the front wall looks rather empty from a decor perspective too.
