The centerpiece of the back wall, as is common in Albertsons stores, is the service meat department. The decor here (which the giant PF&H aisle marker is doing its best to block) is clearly designed with a vintage aesthetic, and kind of has a Wild West feel to me. Like so much of this decor package, it's certainly not my style, but it's still pretty cool to see! Behind the service counter is a large window into the meat back room (an interesting touch), as well as some more oddball wall tile, this time a very nice metallic silvery tile with mosaic accents on the top and bottom. Just like with the deli wall tile earlier, this doesn't seem to fit in with the Grocery Palace decor, though I have seen a similar design in several ex-Grocery Palace stores (and it does seem rather strange that Albertsons would change out the wall tile without fully remodeling a store, but who knows...)
