Sadly, it's time to leave this impressive store behind, so here's one last view of the (quite nice) exterior. I really have to wonder what the future holds for this store, as there's a Safeway just down the street, which seems to be in a better location but is an older and smaller store. It's quite unusual for Safeway/Albertsons to keep stores this close together, especially since there's a Fred Meyer in between the two that probably takes quite a bit of the business anyways, plus there's the fact that this store never got a remodel which seems to indicate it wasn't doing that great... but seeing as they didn't consolidate the stores right after their merger, maybe they have some reason for keeping them that's not all that obvious. Who knows, really, but I'm obviously happy that it's been left alone for now!
