The back wall of produce has another completely different bit of decor, this one presumably based on old produce advertisements. Like at many ex-Grocery Palace stores, this store has a closed-off produce service department along the back wall that doesn't seem to have been in use for many years.
Off to the left is the bakery, in what certainly seems like a rather strange location (though I think that is pretty common for stores built in the Grocery Palace era). The next picture shows the decor somewhat better, but this is the best one I got of the cool coppery tile on the alcove walls.
