Wrapping up this set, here's a view from up above the rooftop parking lot. As you can tell, this store was really built into the hillside; I have to wonder if they ever had any flooding issues. Not sure what those two cars were doing here... maybe they were owned by the people moving stuff out of the store, or maybe someone decided to drive around the barriers to park in here, who knows! The apartment building on the top left is a preview of what's to come for this site, with, to add insult to injury, a new Trader Joe's on the ground floor. (There seems to be some weird community drama about that one, with the land use permit page being flooded with pro- and anti-Trader Joe's comments, but that's a different issue, and one that I don't even begin to understand 🙂)
