Dairy wall

This picture really makes this store look big, though at around 50,000 square feet, it's actually around the average for a grocery store around here. In my opinion, this is one place where the (old) standard Safeway layout really excelled -- the placement of several separate departments (meat, pharmacy, milk, bakery) and corresponding bump-ins and outs along the wall broke it up, while the Albertsons layout with nearly the whole back wall taken up by dairy can make it feel rather monotonous, and leads to lots of blank wall space that needs to be filled by something or other (in this case, the Albertsons leaves).
