This store was built in 2003, making it one of the newer Safeways in the area and one of the last built with the brick and block style Safeway used through the 90s and early 2000s. It was remodeled in 2008, with the exterior thankfully left intact other than replacing signage. This was my second choice local store after moving to Fremont, and was certainly quite a nice store. (Wait, was? ...)
