Fantastic Savings = 5% off?

The deli was also plastered with sale signage, despite having one of the most pathetic sales in the store at only 5% off. (A few other departments we saw already also were only at 5%, but at least they weren't full of signs like this...) However, a few items around had 10% off tags for no apparent reason -- in fact, the whole liquidation sale seemed poorly put together and generally confusing.

This is also the only picture I got of the front end on this visit, as it was completely crazy -- this store didn't have self checkouts (one of the major reasons I didn't shop there more often) and never had enough regular checkouts open (like most Safeways), a problem compounded by the closing sale causing all sorts of confusion at checkout.
