Peet's Coffee & Bakery

This picture does a somewhat better job of showing off the combined bakery department/coffee kiosk this store had than any of my pictures did. Based on some of these auction pictures, I kind of suspect that this was always intended as a weird combo department, as the coffee counter certainly seemed to be original but the store did have some real bakery equipment in the backroom (though I'm not sure whether it was used as a service bakery or not in recent times). Certainly a strange setup, but I guess it makes some sense in a small store like this...
