A trio of coffee chains of the past

I found this lineup of coffee pots on the Peet's counter pretty interesting, as a cross-section of Kroger's cast-off coffee kiosk brands. From left to right, we have Seattle's Best (owned by Starbucks and technically still around, but quickly becoming one of those restaurant chains that only exist overseas), Tully's (completely dead, as I've talked way too much about already), and Peet's (by far the most alive of the three, with a handful of stand-alone shops left in the Seattle area, but slowly losing the battle against Starbucks domination). These three brands all used to be quite common in QFC/Fred Meyer stores, but are being steadily replaced with standard Starbucks whenever stores remodel (or sometimes earlier, especially the ex-Tully's).
