Perhaps the most heavy-handed 50s-style sign is the one for the liquor section... I don't even know what to say about that couple on the left! 🙂 Anyways, this picture also shows a bit more of the construction of these signs, which, up close like this, start to look somewhat cheaply built. Also, while it may be hard to tell from the pictures, it was pretty clear that LED faux-neon wasn't nearly as advanced in 2011 as it is today, and the accents can start to look somewhat like Christmas rope lighting up close. None of that is to discount the super cool design, of course!
