The bar

Back to the topic of "things people in the 50s would never have expected to see in a grocery store" -- this store has a pretty elaborate bar setup at the back of the liquor department. Sadly, there's no decor of any sort here, just a weird hanging ceiling thing with one awkwardly-placed light nowhere near the middle of it. Also, like most of these things, it certainly didn't look like it saw much use -- I guess that shouldn't be surprising though; how many people would want to hang out in a bar in their local grocery store anyways? 😉
