In a stark contrast to modern Rite Aids, the pharmacies in these 90s stores are hidden way in the back right corner without even any design touches to draw your attention to it. I've always thought the pharmacy design used in this era was rather depressing and even jail-like, with the dark grey tiled walls and small, shuttered openings to the pharmacy space itself.
