Nordstrom Nordstrom Rack

Retail Retell got it right (of course!) -- this store is home to some of the most egregious, pointless labelscar I've seen in person. The old sign was replaced with this one sometime in the early 2010s, and while the old "Rack" lettering (on the smooth CMU facade below the current sign) was painted over, the old "Nordstrom" lettering is still very much visible behind the new sign. I'm not sure what sequence of events could have led to this being considered acceptable, especially to a company like Nordstrom.
