DSW Shoes -- wait, what does that S stand for again?

I always have to laugh at how a company called Designer Shoe Warehouse felt the need to tack on "Shoes" to the end of their logo. Anyways, DSW is one of the two tenants in the old Gottschalks building, which, sadly, I have not been able to find any pictures of before the remodel.

    Thank you!! This has always bugged me every time I've seen it. (I believe they've even put up "DSW Shoe Warehouse" before. What's even the point, at that stage?!)

    The one that's always bugged me comes from a local furniture chain up by where I'm from in PA called "EFO Furniture Outlet". EFO stands for Eynon Furniture Outlet, so essentially they're calling themselves the Eynon Furniture Outlet Furniture Outlet!

      FFO Home has (essentially) the same acronym - thankfully they haven't gotten to that point yet though, haha!
