On a (maybe) more positive note... At the right end of the large (and largely abandoned) customer service/photo department was one lone checkout. It didn't look to be used much, if at all, any longer. It appears that the remodel crew forgot about it too, as its register light wasn't reskinned like the ones on the other end of the store. I'm not sure how old this thing is -- I'm not sure if there even was a standard register light in Rite Aid's 90s package, but this looks like it would have fit in there, so it's probably not a PayLess relic. You never know, though...
Yeah, I'm not familiar with any Rite Aid register lights, so I can't help in identifying who or when it's from :/
