This store was built in 2001, and had its only major remodel in 2008. That date puts it in the early days of the PF&H era, but as we'll see shortly, the story is a bit more complicated than that. This store was part of the first wave of development up in the north end of Gig Harbor, a city at the south end of the Kitsap Peninsula but which is actually in Pierce County, which I do find a little confusing, but whatever. Sadly, the whole area, which was once all nice and forested, is now full of sprawl which is only growing by the year -- certainly not my favorite part of the Seattle region...
