Transit and retail -- what could be better?

Surprisingly, Kitsap Transit provides front-door service to this store (always the hallmark of a transit agency that only thinks about transit-dependent populations over "choice" riders, but I'll leave that argument for a forum that actually is interested in those debates!). That allowed me to get this picture hopping off the bus (yes, this is actually my first picture of this store, and my lead picture was actually the last -- I do that way too much for some reason 🙂), which worked out nicely for me!

If I was to start this all over again, one thing I might do differently would be to name this account/blog "Transit and Retail" instead of the generic "Northwest Retail" name I've been using. Oh well, and anyways, that would make me feel more obligated to post more transit stuff! 🙂 On that note, coming up tomorrow will be the first post of a (sporadic, infrequent) recurring series on transit and transportation stuff -- we'll see what everyone thinks of that!

  1. Ha, I've gone back and forth over naming issues too :P I'm used to it by now, but never really had any attachment one way or the other to "Retail Retell"... that was just the best thing I could come up with that wasn't already taken :P (*Surprisingly* wasn't already taken, at that!) And likewise, I began to feel constricted by my Mid-South Retail Blog name... until I realized it's my blog and I can do whatever I want with it, including posting stuff from outside of the Mid-South despite the name :P So I guess the moral of the story here is, post what you want! We're not stopping you :)
