As I was discussing with Retail Retell on the last picture, this store actually has the "deluxe" version of the Premium Fresh & Healthy v1 decor package. What does that mean? Well, this store has these little round awning things above some of the service departments, with backlighting on the department signs. Yay. Yeah, this isn't exactly the most exciting decor package out there, with the plain white walls (never a good look) and generally basic department signage. (It must seem particularly boring compared to the Theme Park decor that this store likely once had, according to Retail Retell's comment a couple days ago.) And, again, this is the nicer version -- there was also a version of this interior where all the signage was the flat wall-mount style, which is what I'm used to from the Port Angeles store. While it does look a little bit better in person, this is certainly up there as one of the more boring store interiors I've seen, along with Safeway's Lifestyle v1, Walmart's Cheap Impact, and pretty much everything Target has been doing lately.
I suppose I should also talk about the subject of the picture itself... The store's deli, which actually does look pretty nice, is located in the front right corner of the store. This is one of the two common locations for the deli in Albertsons stores, with the back corner being sightly more common (with the bakery in the front instead). Note the strange area off to the right of the main service counter -- the cases are mid-height self-service cases, but you can see through to the service area behind them, and it almost looks like this might have formerly been a second service counter. Not sure what's going on there, but perhaps this store might have once had a larger prepared foods department, something that's kind of lacking here now.
