Welcome to the White Center Saar's!

This store opened in 1963 as an Albertsons store, the 100th in the chain. (I know that because there was a whole special section in the Seattle Times dedicated to the opening of this store, which I'll come back to at the end of this set.) It's been remodeled several times, including a large expansion to the north (left side of this picture) sometime in the 70s, before being sold to Saar's in 2012.
