The main produce section is around the corner to the right, and looks about the same as what you'd find at any modern Safeway. That's because, despite this store's age, it's around the same size as many (relatively) modern Safeways from the 90s or early 00s, at over 40,000 square feet. It doesn't appear that this store was ever expanded, so this must have been quite a large grocery store when it opened -- especially for a town of around 6,000 people at the time!
