I believe this store's exterior was customized somewhat to match the surrounding mall development -- other Vancouver-area Walmarts from this era have faux stone like this one (so I guess that was a Canadian thing), but the wood paneling appears to be specific to this store and matches detailing on the main mall, strip mall, and other outparcels. It's quite a nice look, and a bit reminiscent of Safeway Modern.
