I'm not sure what my problem was when I was taking these pictures, but the meat department is another one that I completely skipped. So we're jumping straight over to the dairy section, lined with the ugly maroon cases that Fred Meyer apparently used all the way into the 2010s, well after I would have thought the color would have started looking dated. Like in many Fred Meyers of this era, the dairy section took almost all of the back endcaps of the grocery department, which always seemed like an odd choice.
