Just like Spirit in 2025, this store had lots of "now hiring" signs up despite it being only a week to halloween when I visited. Of course, this was 2021, so pretty much every retail store was desperately trying to hire people! I imagine short-term jobs like this were extremely difficult to hire people for at the time. Five years later, things look very different, with mass layoffs constantly being in the news.
