Play on the furniture

The toy and sporting goods sections were along the front wall in this store, which is a bit unusual (typically they're on the right-hand wall). I'm glad to see that Fred Meyer kept the Playville decor all the way to the end of the Northwest era, though the special aisle/category markers seem to have been dropped. On the other side of this wall is the small strip mall area, built in to the front of the Fred Meyer per their classic style.
