Stepping back out into the heat, you can see the original windows of the left-hand entrance and how they were modified to create the Grocery Palace-like configuration on the right-hand side. Apparently gardening season was still going at this point (I would imagine that May is a bit late in this part of the world), and this store had tons of pots for sale out front. Doesn't seem like they were selling many plants to put in them, though! Just to the left of the logo (with its awkwardly-placed surveillance camera right in the middle) is what looks like a very faint labelscar from the Albertsons A logo poking through all these years after Save Mart took over.
