The decor for the packaged deli department can't seem to decide whether it's for cheeses or grab-and-go meals. The heavy emphasis on the latter is no surprise for an urban store, though it is impressive that they have such a large selection in such a small store. Most Safeways I've seen that are in this size range are vintage stores that have little to nothing in the way of service departments and prepared foods!
