The faregates lead you directly into the "broken" end of the train mockup, an effect that was done reasonably well considering that this is all cardboard. Just ignore the pile of power strips in the hole on the left! I believe all of the animatronics were being powered through the train car via a couple of extension cords hanging down from the ceiling (visible in some of the previous pictures).
