Speaking of the original store, I suspect that the back left corner is pretty much as it was prior to the remodel. There's nothing particularly Grocery Palace-y back here, and in particular, the self-service meat alcove is completely absent, with that department instead being on the back wall in the spot where Grocery Palaces normally have the butcher block.
