Jumping forward about a year and a half, I revisited this store on a day with the opposite kind of unseasonable weather -- a bright and sunny day in early May! Over that time, the tree grew to eat more of the sign, and based on Street View that has continued until the present day (or at least until last year) -- seems like it's about time for Safeway to hire a tree trimmer!
