There, that's a better overview. The tile situation gets even stranger here though -- only the cold side of the deli kept its old tile, while the prepared foods section got new Lifestyle tile. That makes some sense since Safeway added a lot more prepared foods offerings in the Lifestyle era, but it still looks odd! The hot foods bar in the foreground is an unusual touch for Safeway -- I wonder if it came back after COVID (my 2021 photos show that it did survive the remodel, but in early 2021 features like this were still out of use pretty much everywhere).
