On my previous visit, I completely skipped over the weird little kiosk thing that sits over the main sidewalk connection (there's one around the corner by the gas station too). I'm guessing this is just some sort of weird decorative feature; it kind of looks like a bus shelter, but neither of these are right next to a bus stop.
