Along the back actionway, next up is the deli meat and cheese department, built into an alcove that, again, looks quite odd in this drop-ceiling store. It seems that all of the departments back here are migrating, with the bakery and the produce section both encroaching on this area! I don't think I've ever seen a store use a coffin case for cakes and such elsewhere. One of the column lines back here probably marks the end of the original store, but none of them stick out in any obvious way so I'm not sure where the transition actually is.
Winn-Dixie likes using coffin coolers for cakes and bakery goods, particularly in their larger stores. That's the only other example I can think of.
