Meanwhile, the food court itself has another completely different aesthetic, from the rest of the mall and even from that sign. It has a complex patterned tile floor, fake stained glass skylights (arranged around a central real skylight), and trees in pots. I have no idea what era this is from -- the stained glass looks somewhat 70s, the flooring definitely does not (maybe more late 80s/early 90s?), and the fact that everything looks so different from the rest of the mall makes me think this was remodeled at some point separately from everything else, but all in all this is just a strange design that doesn't look stereotypically from any era I can think of. I'd be interested to hear any thoughts on this, since I'm just confused!
