While the large square canopy is fairly common, the glass edge hanging down from it certainly isn't! It reminds me of that draft-stopping/smoke-containing stuff you sometimes see around atriums and other floor openings in large buildings. On the right, that BCAA sign looks like it could be as old as this mall, but sadly, Street View shows it was installed circa 2010, so I guess BCAA was just trying to look old-fashioned.
I know I've been flaky around here the last few weeks -- this time I wasn't on a vacation or anything like that, but was studying for a big test that I took last week. I finally got my results back today, and now I can finally officially say I'm a Professional! I'm glad to have that done with, and shouldn't ever have to do something like that again.
