Meanwhile, the checkerboard aesthetic from the neon sign extends to the flooring and some of the trim here, which definitely makes me think those elements aren't original to the mall. Some of the older storefronts, like Taco Luis here and Shogun in previous photos, have a distinct 90s neon look to them. But I really don't think the stained glass looks like it's from the 90s, so who knows.
